The Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "Digital Platforms" was formed to remove regulatory and economic barriers to the development of the "digital sector", attract digital professionals and best practices to solve strategic tasks of Russia's digital transformation. The activity is directly related to the promotion of digital products both on the domestic and international market.

The organization will be engaged in broadcasting the best digital practices, both within Russia and beyond. This is one of its tasks, but not the only one

About the head of the organization

Arseny Shchelcin is a Russian public figure, Internet industry expert, media manager, and entrepreneur. He is a member of expert councils at government bodies (State Duma of the Russian Federation, Federation Council of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Communications, Ministry of Industry and Trade, and others).

Previously, Arseny Shchelcin co-founded RACIB (Russian Association of Crypto Industry and Blockchain) and was its director.

Until 2018, he held the position of Director of Project Activities at the Institute for Internet Development (IRI). At IRI, Shchelcin supervised project activities, prepared legislative proposals that ensured the priority of Russian information technologies, developed measures to improve the quality of electronic government services, managed the project of creating a state messenger, and participated in creating a key community of more than 900 experts to build a digital economy.
